Film maker Anurag Basu, who’s scripting late singer Kishore Kumar’s biopic, continues to be looking for the actress to play yesteryear diva Madhubala in the movie.
“I am hunting for Madhubala but it’s too soon to speak about it. Casting takes place 2 to 3 months before we begin shooting. The movie is at its initial stage & would probably release next year,” Anurag said.
While Ranbir has been roped in to play Kishore Kumar’s role, there have been reports that Kangna Ranaut or Katrina Kaif might walk into the role of Madhubala. Having said that, no official confirmation has been given.
The biopic goes on floors soon.
