Post 2009 blockbuster Wanted, the 47-year-old’s profession is going from strength to strength. Within the final 5 years, he has churned out a string of effective films – Prepared, Dabangg, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger and Dabangg 2 – all these films earned more than Rs.100 crore in the box workplace.
Hemal Jhaveri, common manager at Star Gold, told IANS: “Yes, we’ve signed a cope with Salman Khan and whoever asks me why Salman, I’d only say why not Salman Khan? His previous box workplace record has been outstanding and his film, which has been premiered on Television, is exceptional.”
“He continues to have the biggest record for his movie ‘Bodyguard’ which had the highest rating so far,” he added.
Based on the deal, the channel would own exclusive Tv broadcast rights of Salman’s all new films.
“The deal is from 2013 onwards where all his movies in which he acts, produces or be a part of, we’ll possess the broadcast rights exclusively with us,” stated Jhaveri.
Salman, who’s at this time getting some health problems and is most likely to fly to the US for therapy, has handful of movies in his kitty – Kick, No Entry Mein Entry & Sooraj Barjatya’s subsequent untitled movie amongst others. He’ll begin shooting for them shortly.
