Vidya Balan, who will be seen in a comedy movie for the first-time in Rajkumar Gupta’s Ghanchakkar, employed a coach to get ready for her role in the film.
In the wrap-up bash of the movie Gupta informed, “Vidya hasn’t played a Punjabi character before and i believe this what thrilled her the most. It had been very hard on her this is why she chose to do this. When Vidya chooses to do something, she goes all the way. She used to call me late at nights say ‘I wish to give this nuance to the character’ or ‘I wish to wear this type of clothes in the movie’. She also hired a coach for herself to ensure that she could work on the character. When Vidya gets into a character, 99 % she’ll get into it and definitely will get it right.”
Ghanchakkar stars Emraan Hashmi opposite Vidya & will strike the theaters in June, this year.
